JW collected happy bucks for MLK Day, the Vikings’ victory, general happiness and:
- Dean is looking forward to Rotary Night at the Falcon Center on Friday and the first day of classes on Monday.
- Randy is impressed that Jeff Johnson’s freshman son is starting for the varsity basketball team.
- Scott M. said the jury is still out re: Freeloader #1’s new boyfriend.
- Ted’s children made it safely to Africa and are en route to their destination.
- Ted noted that at least now Vikings fans know what it’s like to be a Packers fan.
- Gordy is looking for odd jobs, as his son got accepted to Michigan State.
- Rick had an old-school experience with his grandkids in the car listening to the end of the Vikings game on the radio.
- Diane’s daughter is back from Singapore; her international experience started as a Rotary Exchange student to South Korea.
- Tracy’s great-grandson turned one and had a huge party at the bowling alley.
- Carole appreciated the “goodwill and friendship” she’s feeling from her fellow Rotarians about the Vikings win.
- Chris enjoyed the Rotary mid-term rally on Saturday, a great source of information and inspiration.
- Elaine tried to give her children “roots and wings;” they visited this weekend after a trip to Hong Kong.
- Traci’s dad is coming home tomorrow; she is happy to be his caregiver.
- Bill enjoyed time with old friends.
- Tony P. isn’t sure he’s ever been so disappointed as at the end of the Vikings game Sunday.
- Jill’s feeling sorry for her husband, who finally gave up on the Vikings this year.
- John is somewhat disappointed that his Ancestry DNA came back pure English and German.
- Dale recommended the book, “We Were Eight Years in Power.”
- Heather appreciated all who helped plan the local MLK Breakfast event.
