Another 5th Tuesday in-meeting service project was a twofer. Eighteen of us labeled Jump Start to Literacy and Tools for School books to let readers and their families know that our literacy-focused club donated them. And them we decorated birthday bags for Our Neighbors' Place backpack families. They will be filled with cake mix, frosting, and other birthday items for children in a Backpack families. The coolest part was watching the way everyone didn't wait for the meeting to start, didn't wait for instructions, , and even didn't wait until breakfast was out -- just went right to work and got it done.
