River Falls Rotarian, Dr. Tony Jilek, gave an update on the Ambulance project and several other projects in Nicaragua.
In 1981, Tony joined the Wisconsin Nicaragua Partners, a nonprofit volunteer organization.

In 1981, Tony joined the Wisconsin Nicaragua Partners, a nonprofit volunteer organization.
He has made approximately 30 volunteer trips to Nicaragua and established a city-to-city partnership between Ocotal and River Falls.
The partnership provides funding opportunities for medical, educational, cultural, and sports programs to help the people of Ocotal and provide cross-cultural opportunities between Wisconsin and Nicaragua.
He has also worked in Mexico on livestock projects and educational exchanges and assisted with the establishment of student travel courses in Mexico and Nicaragua.
