Dale Jorgenson is leading a team consisting of Tony Jilek, Karla Thoennes, and Kendra Sievers to put together a presentation that River Falls Rotarians can take "on the road" to solicit funds from other clubs as part of our district grant to fund the school forest pavilion. Dale went through the presentation, and as he did so he asked the club members present for feedback and suggestions. The resulting discussions, while emphasizing that we have a very good message, provided some ideas for additions and improvements. The key remaining component of the talk will be to work out the specifics of the "ask": that is, how much we hope to raise from each Rotary Club to which we present.
The notes and suggestions were recorded, and there will be a follow-up meeting on Tuesday June 4th to refine the presentation further. In the meantime we are reaching out to other clubs, particularly those we have supported in the past, to get on their speaker schedules.
