District 5960 LIFT Program - Annual Update: The LIFT program has been addressing extreme poverty in Nicaragua for a number of years. The program is expanding and the impact is growing. About the Presenter: Rick Heidick is a member of Stillwater Sunrise Rotary and has been a Rotarian for 16 years. Rick is a past President of the Stillwater Sunrise and Hutchinson Rotary clubs. Rick has been the team leader of LIFT since 2019, and now is President of the new District 5960 Charitable Foundation, of which LIFT is a part. Rick retired from 3M in 2020 after 35 years there. Rick has a degree in Physics/Electronics and his last job at 3M was International Quality Manager for 3M's largest division. Born and raised in Iowa, three years in the Army (stationed in Germany), Rick has interests is international travel and is an avid bicyclist (leading bicycle friendly advocacy in Stillwater).
